Request for Service: Volunteer Assistance
The Katikati Funfest Charitable Trust runs the annual Katikati Avo Fest. The trust relies on volunteer help in order to make the festival run. In return the festival makes a donation to those groups that have helped reflective of the service provided. The next event is on Saturday the 10th of January 2026, with setup on Friday 9th of January 2026.

Each area has the specific tasks needed and expected donation in the following pages. Numbers of personnel needed allows for time off the duties and to rest, particularly those tasks through the event. Some tasks need all “hands on deck” at the beginning and then just a skeleton crew to finish off.
The trust invites community groups to express an interest in any of the above areas that they can provide the resources for. All tasks will have a defined time that they need to be completed within to enable the smooth preparation and running of the event. Each task will have an appropriate donation and where necessary passes to get into the event.
The timeline for the expression of interest is as follows;
20 October - Expressions of interest close
10 November – The Katikati FunFest Trust finalises groups allocate tasks
30 November – Groups to provide details of volunteers
December – The Katikati FunFest to make contact with groups to outline responsibilities and organise pre-day briefing.
